There’s few things that make us want to break out our passport and hop on the next flight overseas than hearing about a good coffee shop. Today, guest contributor Andy Cenci returns with his top coffee picks for Warsaw, Poland.
Relaks Kawiarnia
Located in the up-and-coming Mokotów district of southern Warsaw, Cafe Relaks is located around a bustling park that is filled with restaurants and shopping. This little shop is filled with vintage design posters and has the airy feel of a European cafe but with a distinctly Polish essence. Most of the menu is in Polish except for the coffee offerings, but all you need is a cappuccino and veggie quiche and all will be well.
Paręosób
Located on a quite street near the Warsaw business district, this artsy shop gives you a taste of European café culture. With longer hours this shop is a place to spend time for a morning coffee or a evening drink as well. Doubling as an music venue and art gallery, Paręosób is neighborhood hang out for locals, and a great spot to sit out in the sun and enjoy a drink on quite tree-lined street.
Great article, thank you! Last time I was in Warsaw was in 1997 and the only thing I remember was visiting a nightclub that was in a bunker. Maybe I need a more coffee focused trip next time. These photos make me want to take a trip soon.
Warsaw is a wonderful place. I love to hear and see pictures of the places off the beaten path. Thanks for sharing!
Will be on Ontwok next week to visit an old friend, just listed great coffee places near Otwok and this showed up! Might be able to check it out, great article by the way. Big coffee fan here.
